Native Polish Owners

Allison and Julie Hoffman, a sister-in-law match made in heaven, launched Native Polish in 2015 to offer locals - and those who left their hearts in NOLA - a more natural, authentic line of nail polish. Fun fact: the idea was conceived during their annual sister-in-law day at Jazz Fest ... Erica Falls at Congo Square in the backdrop.
Native is vegan, cruelty free and 7 free, which means polishes do not contain seven harmful chemicals: formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), xylenes and parabens.
Feeling better about what they’re wearing on their nails, New Orleans women also adore the longevity of the polish. One customer, Maria Crumley, told the Native girls, “Before I discovered Native, it had been a good 20 years since my last manicure – polish never lasted more than a couple of days. With Native, my manicures easily last 7-10 days without chipping and I’m able to express the passion I have for the Crescent City through their meaningful names."
Allison and Julie spend their own ya-ya time naming each tiny bottle of joy over a glass of rosé. The inspiration for the newer Mini Native line are their two daughters, Evie and Mia.
All polishes come ready to gift for yourself or others – Native ($11) in a small burlap sack and Mini Native ($8) in a tiny linen bag with the idea of either being reused in a girl’s closet or handbag.
Now all that’s left is choosing the right shade for the NOLA girl in your life, happy shopping!
